1. Agreement
By accessing or using Compact (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Compact provides a legal-focused agent team platform for use by law firms and legal professionals. The Service is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Outputs from the Service are not a substitute for the judgment of a licensed attorney.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be authorized to act on behalf of any firm you connect to the Service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, infringe any third party’s rights, upload malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, or interfere with its operation.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content and documents you submit to the Service. You grant Compact a limited license to process that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Compact does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Compact will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
